Ghion Industrial Chemical Sector (GICS) is a proud division of the Ghion Industrial Group, dedicated to serving Ethiopia’s chemical needs while upholding our economic and social responsibilities. With more than three decades of experience, we are recognized as the leading domestic producer of sodium hypochlorite, a key chemical for water treatment and sanitation.
Our state-of-the-art production facilities now yield 30,000 liters per day (or 10.5 million liters annually), offering sodium hypochlorite in multiple concentrations—10%, 5%, and 1.25%—to meet the varying needs of sectors such as:
